Brudders

These two.

These two are brudders.

It melts my heart.

Said by Ian to some joggers when we were hiking at Kennesaw a couple of weeks ago..."Hey guys, watch out. I've got a little boy right here." 

When Elijah scraped up his knee after a fall we cleaned it up and stuck a band-aid on it. He didn't calm down about said band-aid until Ian stuck one on his own knee. "It's OK Elijah! It doesn't hurt, see. It makes it better!"

I'm watching as a bond forms between the two of them that is something very special, something for just the two of them. 

I look at the photo above and I can just imagine them, 20 years from now, as young men. Still brothers, still loving one another. Still sticking up for one another. And yes, probably still getting in scraps with each other. 

What sweet, precious boys we've been blessed with. I love these brudders to pieces.
